Some news from the American Base.
Thanks to Bill for the updates:

* Some new postings under “By Spencer III” tab

* Some great blogs by people doing their own things to raise awareness and money for the Project as well as for Adrenal Cancer Awarenss – note we just went over 2,000 members of the Adrenal Cancer awareness cause on Facebook too!

* New merchandise on the website including the Stevedores’ Tamuawok….When you buy Tamuawok that money actually goes to a Stevedores fund that will someday (hopefully) see the remaining four members record some of the music that was under-development when Spencer passed away in December 2006.

More new stuff:

Oh, and 100 Monkeys and New Castle just sent us a sizeable check for the Legacy Project – so combined with the money raised at the August 15th Concert, we’re golden to produce the next Spencer solo record (probably early next year). Thanks guys!!!

We may also get the okay to move ahead to reproduce a quantity of Sheer Funk & Misery’s album, “Early Morning Hours” – again, thanks for the money being generated by the Concert and other generosities.

The Euro-Texas-California connection is working on their contest too – have to read their blogs or get in touch with them to learn more – I can’t keep up.

Artists on Demand is planning a ‘wrap-up” show on the concert (possibly Sunday September 6th, so stay tuned)

Finally, we’re fixing to produce some stickers (including the “I am Spencerian” bumper stickers that so many people have been asking for.

I’m sure there’s more because it’s um, uh, let’s say “off the hook” these days.
