Hi Everyone!

Some great news and a call for artists from Bill Bell:

“As you maybe know, Ben Johnson is working out West (in all of his spare time) to get Spencer’s new album mastered – with the goal of having the Dallas show also serve as a release party in April.

As with all of these posthumous projects, the goal is to keep it real to Spencer’s memory and to utilize his own art (some of it actually created to be used for future album projects – as Feudal Brutal was).

But I have an idea for an album (down the road)…..What about an album next year that is a compilation of songs covered by some of you? I see the work Lea has done, for example, and it would be wonderful to include a couple of hers…These might be mixed with covers done by artist friends of Spencer’s as well – Ben Johnson knows a good deal of Spencer’s catalog, for example, and it would be great for him to contribute.

Anyway, what do ya’ll think? Who of you would consider contributing your talents? Which song(s) might you cover?”
